- This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-27. This is an Unrestricted Competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325414. DESCRIPTION: The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a requirement for the following: Assay kit procedure should not exceed a 30 minute primary incubation step (antibody immobilized beads and sample), a 30 minute biotinylated antibody incubation step and a 10 minute streptavidin step. The entire assay procedure should not exceed 2 hours from the start of the first incubation until completion. Assay should be compatible with Luminex xMAP based instruments for acquisition of multiplex analyte data. The total assay (either a single assay or combined with single plex analytes) should include the following analytes: oIL-1beta oIL-2 oIL-3 oIL-4 oIL-5 oIL-6 oIL-9 oIL-10 oIL-13 oIL-15 oMCP-1 o(MCAF) oMIP-1alpha Analytes included in the assay format should be compatible to multiplex together with no demonstrated cross-reaction between the individual analytes. The kit should be reactive with mouse samples (serum or plasma Multiplex Assay beads should be magnetic to support magnetic assay protocol The operating system must use flow-based xMAP fluorescent reader. The 96 well flat bottom plates must be compatible with Bioplex platform currently owned by CAS. The Bio-Plex mouse cytokine 12-plex kits must provide consistent results from run to run. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. The competitive solicitation, solicitation amendments and all questions and answers relating to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ or https://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about, June 13, 2011and will only be available until June 30, 2011. Specifications of the requirement are provided in solicitation: W81XWH-11-T-0386 Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. To be eligible for an award, offerors MUST be registered with the Central Contractor Registry at https://ccr.gov/ and may have completed its representations and certification found at https://orca.bpn.gov/. All questions should be addressed in writing to Colleen Barnes, Contract Specialist at colleen.barnes@us.army.mil. Only one set of questions shall be received from each offeror. Numerous emails from one offeror shall not be accepted. Telephone requests will not be honored and bidder lists will not be maintained.
