- Boot, Hot Weather, Desert, Steel Toe SPM1C1-11-R-0093 Boot, Hot Weather, Desert, Steel Toe, Quantity: (Tan) Minimum: 19,551 Pr; Maximum: 97,755 and (Sage) Minimum: 15,960 Pr; Maximum: 79,800 with four term options. Tan boot: Base year through Option IV--Minimum: 19,551 Pr; Maximum: 97,755; Sage boot: Base year through Option IV--Minimum: 15,960 Pr; Maximum: 79,800. Destination : DDJC and DDSP. Items to be manufactured in accordance with Weinbrenner style 803-7700 or equal for the Sage boot and Weinbrenner style 803-3300 or equal for the Tan boot. Production lead time is 90 days after date of award. Procurement will be issued on a HUBZone Set-Aside basis and will be evaluated under Best Value Procedures with the following factors: Product Demonstration Model (PDM) and Past Performance. One total HUBZone Set-Aside award will be made for the total quantities listed above. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Solicitation will be posted on https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on or before September 15,2011. Detailed system requirements and instructions for registration can be found on the DLA DIBBS Home Page accessed on https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statues (including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment") imposed restrictions on the DoD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and "specialty metals" (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
