Description
QUESTIONS& Answers: Question#1:For the Post-Wide Propane CLINS: 0001, 1001, 2001, 3001 & 4001, do you want us to propose the Propane Terminal Price only? Do you have a terminal in mind you want to peg this on? Answer: Please propose the cost to the government for the propane. For example, if we were to come pick up the propane and no delivery was involved, what would you sell us the propane for? This should include your cost for the propane, overhead and profit for the propane only. Question#2: For the Propane Delivery CLINS: 0002, 1002, 2002, 3002 & 4002, does this delivery CLIN include all other charges such as: admin, margin, hazmat. etc...? Answer: This CLIN is the cost for the delivery of the product. This would also include any charges relating to the delivery of the product to include, labor, gasoline, etc. Profit and overhead for the propane is already accounted for in CLIN 0001. Question#3: What is the Post-wide Propane (CLINS: 0001, 1001, 2001, 3001 & 4001) Price Terms going to be? Answer: These are firm-fixed-price CLINS with an EPA. The clause 52.216-4 is included in the contract and provides for up to an 18% aggregate increase from the original cost of the propane. This increase is given only to the contractor's actual cost of the propane. As the prices decrease the government is owed a decrease in price as well.
