Description

This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. NSWC Crane Division has a requirement to produce and rebuild Crossed Field Amplifiers (CFA) used in the AN/SPY-1D(V) Radar and meeting the requirements of WS-33154 and NAVSEA Drawing 53711-6155764. Specification will be provided upon written request. Final inspection and acceptance will be performed at NSWC Crane by the NSWC Crane technical team. The following CLIN Structure is anticipated: CLIN 0001: Min: 1, Max: 137 USN Production Units CLIN 0002: Min: 15, Max: 40 USN Production Units (with GFM) CLIN 0003: Min: 0, Max: 5 FMS Production Units (with GFM) CLIN 0004: Min: 0, Max: 5 FMS Repair Units CLIN 0005: Data The Government anticipates award of a non-commercial, firm fixed price, 2 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with delivery no earlier than 180 days after contract award. Anticipated delivery will be FOB destination, NSWC Crane Division, Crane, IN 47522. Inspection and acceptance is anticipated to be at origin. Solicitation N00164-11-R-GR13 will be issued on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to L-3, Communication, and Williamsport, PA. Interested persons may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. However, all capability statements/proposals received within 45 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government. The solicitation will be issued to L-3 on or about 15 July 2011. A solicitation will not be available for download but other interested parties can request requirements documents at that time. All qualified/responsible parties may submit a response to this procurement, which will be considered by the Government. It is the responsibility of Offerors to obtain the RFP and to submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane to be considered.
