- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. DUE TO AN URGENCY NEED THE RESPONSE TIME IS THREE DAYS. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. A11PS00589 herein cited will be procured under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-52. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. NAICS Code: 423490, Small Business Standard in number of employees is 100 Note: The Government's existing survey equipment is Trimble. Interested Offeror shall provide brand name or equal purchase description in accordance with FAR Clause 52.211-6 Branch Name or Equal. This is a cost savings to the Government where surveyors will not need additional training on the rental equipment. The Government will inspect and pickup the survey equipment at the vendor's place of business. The survey equipment rental for three months is an estimated months to be rented. The Government will be returning the rental survey equipment upon completion of the work and shall only paid for services render. RENTAL SURVEY EQUIPMENT AS FOLLOWS: 1.
