Description
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for License Plate Reader (LPR) refueling and generator maintenance services for a period of performance of 07/12/2011-07/11/2012 for the following locations in Imperial County, CA: 1. Two (2) trailers at: CA-111 (Coordinates: 33.36031-115.64493) 2. Two (2) trailers at: CA-86 (Coordinates: 33.12549-115.85473) 3. Two (2) trailers at: I-8 (Coordinates: 32.74664-114.74328) LABOR: Refueling services and generator maintenance FUEL: Approximately 1,800 gallons of diesel fuel per month x 12 months. Fuel delivery is needed every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. OIL: 10W30 oil is required. The oil shall be changed every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. OIL FILTERS: Oil filters shalled be changed every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. AIL FILTERS: Shall shall be changed every two weeks in normal conditions and every week in windy conditions. FUEL FILTERS: Shall be changed and replaced with a clean fuel filter every two weeks. The above described tasks shall be performed in a manner that ensures the generators are operational 24 hours a day. The LPR trailers' operations shall not be compromised. This shall also require nights and weekend maintenance. In accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the DEA intends to issue a purchase order described in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 13.5. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-1 (June 2008) Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-2 (Jan 1999) Evaluation-Commercial Items - 1) Technical capability 2) Past performance 3) Price; 52.212-3 (Aug 2009) Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4 (Mar 2009) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5 (Feb 2010) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Additional clauses cited within this clause are applicable. The Government anticipates award of a single, firm-fixed price purchase order based on best value. All sources shall submit a quotation which will be evaluated. The deadline for questions is June 27, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Responses must be submitted electronically to ryan.f.burke@usdoj.gov. All respondents will be considered by this agency. Closing date for quotes is June 28, 2011 at 12:00noon EST.
