This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format stated in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information. The National Park Service contemplated award of a firm fixed price contract, as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation, to the quoter providing the best value to the Government, meeting the Governments need. Facility supports Chateau, Chalet, and Guide Dormitory at the Oregon Caves National Monument. The septic tank is located 40 feet below the roadway. Road access is steep and narrow. This project will require smaller transfer trucks to pump and haul sewage waste 8 miles to a larger transfer truck. The vendor is expected to dispose of the sewage waste at an approved disposal site.
