Description
The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) has a requirement for Laboratory Courier services for the VISN 12 Great Lakes Health Care System and the James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center. The purpose of this solicitation is for the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to perform Laboratory Courier services in accordance with the statement of work, specifications, and terms and conditions listed within this request for proposal (RFP). All services must be performed in the United States of America. There are no exceptions. All qualified offerors who believe they can satisfy the solicitation requirements are invited and encouraged to provide their proposal. Offers shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical capability to perform the services, and satisfactory past performance record. The Government intends to award a single aggregate contract contingent on the responsible offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. This is a Fixed Price Requirement contract with Economic Price Adjustment under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 492110, size standard of 1500 employees. This is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-side. The anticipated period of performance is for the period of one year from the date of the award, with up to four one-year options to extend at the Government's discretion. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. Electronic version of the solicitation will be available August 2, 2011.
