- August 3, 2011This synopsis is to advise industry that SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic intends toissue Request for Proposal N65236-11-R-0079 for Transport and ComputingInfrastructure support services. The anticipated work will include the Ashore, Afloat, Mobile, Joint, andFederalInfrastructure business areas to include communications, satellite and jointspace communications, networks, network operations, network management,common computing environment, infrastructure to include all hardware andsoftware components, cloud computing, afloat data centers and server hostingenvironments, consolidated network enterprise services components, andwireless networking. The applicable NAICS code for this effort is 541330 with a size standard of$27M. Government estimate for this effort is approximately $99 million. Thissolicitation will be an 8(a) small business set-aside. The contractor will betasked to accomplish the work as specified in the PWS. A performance based,indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract is anticipated withprovisionsfor cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price and fixed price incentive (firmtargets)orders. The ordering period will include a base year with four one-yearoptions. Multiple awards may be made.
