Description

This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to the RFI marked "Proprietary" will be handled accordingly. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Whatever information is provided in response to this RFI will be used to assess the market in the areas of "Green" Class IV Vehicles. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS RFI OR REIMBURSE ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS RFI. 1. What is the industry classification of a vehicle similar, in luxury, to a Cadillac DTS (i.e. Class IV) and what other vehicles fall in that classification? 2. Do these vehicles have the capability to go "green"? 3. What is the current availability of this type/class of "green" vehicle? 4. What "green" power options are available for these types of vehicles? If you have the above mentioned information or any additional information about capabilities and availability of "green" vehicles equivalent in luxury to a Cadillac DTS, please submit your answers to A1C Chelsey Poindexter at chelsey.poindexter@afncr.af.mil by August 15, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. EDT.
