- DoD PLUG-IN ELECTRIC VEHICLE Industry Day 23 August 2011- Washington D.C Navy Yard/Admiral Gooding Center 24 August 2011 -Alexandria VA (Mark Center Tentative location) Washington Headquarters Services is pleased to announce an Industry Day for DoD Plug-In Electric Vehicles (PEV). Attendance at the PEV Industry Day will be limited due to space constraints (~175 total persons). Attendees must pre-register for this event. Only those individuals pre-registered will be permitted entry to Industry Day. Space and seating are limited, so please pre-register quickly. At this time, due to the substantial submission response against the RFI, respondents to RFI #JB06162011 will receive pre-registration preference for available space for this session. Future sessions will be held at the discretion of the Government. To pre-register, send the following information to WHS/AD at jonathan.becker@whs.mil by 1:30PM on Friday, August 12, 2011 with the subject "PEV INDUSTRY DAY REGISTRATION" followed by company name. Company Name: CAGE code: Company (or main) Point of Contact (POC) telephone and e-mail address: PEV Industry Day Attendee* POC telephone and e-mail address: *maximum of 3 attendees per CAGE code/company. Company representatives attending are intended to be subject matter experts, as opposed to sales representatives. The above registration information will be released to all attendees. Upon successful pre-registration, attendees will be sent a confirmation e-mail to include maps, directions, and entry requirements. Please note there will be no available parking at the Industry Day sites. The Navy Yard site is WMATA Metro accessible and Paid Public Parking sites are available in the area. Due to the substantial RFI response, the one-on-one sessions will only be guaranteed to the respondents from the RFI in the following manner: Joint RFI Responses**: 40 minutes (One-on-One Session with each responding group) Vehicle Manufacturers: 20 minutes (One-on-One Session with each respondent) Battery Manufacturers: 40 minutes (Group Session with all respondents) Charging Station Manufacturers: 40 minutes (Group Session with all respondents) All Other Categories: 20 minutes (One-on-One Session with each respondent) Non-RFI Respondents: Based on Availability **"Joint RFI Responses" is defined as three or more companies submitted via a single RFI response to RFI #JB06162011. At least 3 of the company POCs must be present to qualify AND must have already submitted a joint response. The specific schedule of breakout sessions will be released after pre-registration has ended. DOD will provide some questions to each breakout session participant prior to August 22, 2011. These sessions will NOT include any multimedia capabilities, so attendees are encouraged to prepare hardcopy documentation to support the discussion. An electronic copy of the hardcopy documentation should be provided on a CD at Industry Day.
