Description

NSN 1630-99-462-9209, PR number 42557684, WHEEL, LANDING GEAR used on the AV-8B Aircraft. The solicitation ISSUE DATE is August 29, 2011 with a CLOSING DATE of September 29, 2011. Solicitation is for a Firm Fixed Price Definite Quantity contract for 109 each to be shipped to New Cumberland, PA. Solicitation is unrestricted for business size. Other than full and open competition in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1). Approved source is MEGGITT AIRCRAFT BRAKING SYSTEMS, CAGE K1037, P/N AHA 1874 and BOEING COMPANY, CAGE 76301, P/N AHA 1874. Terms and Conditions are FOB Origin, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin with delivery being 292 days After Receipt of Order. This is a Navy CSI item with critical application and higher level inspection requirements. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Automated Best Value System (AVBS) and/or the Past Performance Information Retrieval System-Statistical Reporting (PPIRS-SR) will be used as an evaluation factor. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requesters.
