- Telemetry System Technical Services (Market Survey) The Army Contracting Command (ACC), Joint Munitions & Lethality (JM&L) Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the U.S. Army, Research Development and Engineering Command, Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (RDECOM-ARDEC) is conducting a market survey to identify qualified sources to capable providing field support for specific tasks, which shall include the transportation of mobile vans to various sites within the Continental U.S., setup and checkout of mobile van systems for support field operation, calibration of mobile van systems to support data acquisition and data reduction analysis, test and qualification of flight hardware, monitoring of launch operations and system performance evaluation. There may be more than one simultaneous field operation scheduled at one time, at any of the location within the Continental U.S., where field test operations are being conducted. Potential sources must exhibit in-depth experience, knowledge, and ability to operate independently in the design, development, fabrication, test and utilization of HI-G projectile and missile telemetry systems. The HI-G projectile and missile telemetry systems are used to obtain in-bore and in-flight projectile telemetry data while experiencing acceleration forces of more than 20,000 to 50,000 gs. Some future tasks may involve HI-G forces in excess of 100,000 g's. Typical projectiles to be telemetered include 105mm, 120mm, 155mm, and 8-inch projectiles. Interested sources who feel they are capable of providing the above technical services are invited to indicate their interest with a brief summary of the following: a)Provide evidence of companies capabilities b)Description of facilities, personnel, past performance, and environmental compliance as it relates to the above technical services. c)Provide evidence of Quality Assurance and Reliability programs to support these technical services. d)Provide their name, address, point of contact, telephone, email, and size of business (Small, Large, Educational Institution, or Historically Black College or University and Minority Institution (HBCU/MI). This market survey is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the US Government. All information submitted will be held in a confidential status. The contractor shall provide all information requested in this notification by COB, 22 August 2011 by electronic mail at no cost to the US Government.
