Description

NSN 1680-99-836-9085, PR number 42401533, SUPPORT, SEAT FRAME used on AVIATION LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEMS. The solicitation ISSUE DATE is August 25, 2011 with a CLOSING DATE of September 27, 2011. Solicitation is for a Firm Fixed Price Definite Quantity contract for 270 each to be shipped to New Cumberland, PA. Solicitation is unrestricted for business size. Other than full and open competition in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1). Approved source is MARTIN BAKER AMERICA INC., CAGE 1Q842, P/N MBEU148781and MARTIN-BAKER AIRCRAFT CO LTD, CAGE U1604, P/N MBEU148781. Terms and Conditions are FOB Origin, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin with delivery being 104 days After Receipt of Order. This item is life support with higher level inspection requirements. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Automated Best Value System (AVBS) and/or the Past Performance Information Retrieval System-Statistical Reporting (PPIRS-SR) will be used as an evaluation factor. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requesters.
