- U.S. GOVERNMENT IS SEEKING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST IN COLUMBUS, OHIO State: Ohio City: Columbus Delineated Area: N: I-670 E: I-71 S: I-70/I-71 W: Hwy 315 Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 1,593 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 1,673 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): N/A Parking Spaces (Surface): N/A Parking Spaces (Structured): N/A Parking Spaces (Reserved): N/A Full Term: Ten (10) years Firm Term: Five (5) years Option Term: N/A Additional Requirements: N/A The United States Government currently occupies 1,593 ANSI/BOMA Office Area (ABOA) square feet (1,848 rentable square feet) of contiguous space under an existing lease in Columbus, Ohio. The Government's lease is expiring and the Government is considering if alternative space is economically advantageous. The Government will use the information it receives in response to this advertisement as a basis to develop a cost-benefit analysis and to determine whether to compete the lease requirement or pursue a sole source justification to remain at its current location. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocation, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure. This is an inquiry for available space and is not to be construed as an invitation to bid. Offered s pace must meet Government requirements for fire safety, handicap accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. The proposed leased space shall be fully serviced. Offered space shall not be located in a flood zone. Notwithstanding the minimum and maximum ABOA requirements indicated above, space shall not exceed 1,924 rentable square feet (RSF). Expressions of Interest Due: 8/15/11 4:00pm CDT Market Survey (Estimated): No physical market survey will be conducted unless a cost benefit analysis indicates that it may be economically advantageous for the Government to consider alternate space. The Government's decision to relocate will be based, in part, on information received in response to this advertisement.
