Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Ambulatory Care Center, in Columbus, Ohio, intends to solicit proposal to provide Walk off Mats Services. The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement on or about August 26, 2011, with a closing date for proposals on or about date September 6, 2011. The Veteran-Owned set aside solicitation will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide full information to contractors about the proposal submission process. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FBO website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. General Requirements The Contractor shall provide regular walk-off mat, kitchen mats, and treated dust mop services for Veterans Administration Ambulatory Care Clinic (VAACC) Columbus, 420 N. James Rd, Columbus, OH 43219 for base year and four option years per following specifications. Mats are to be exchanged for clean replacement mats on a bi-weekly basis. The Contractor will be responsible for having a sufficient number of employees, supplies and equipment available to meet the schedule and service requirements of this contract. The Contractor shall schedule and arrange work so as to cause the least interference with the normal occurrence of Government business and mission.
