- *NO SET ASIDE USED* The Government intends to establish a sole source BPA with The Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation, 125 May Street Ste 300, Edison NJ 08837-3264, for allograft bone and soft tissue products under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice is to meet the requirement of the Department of Orthopaedics, Tripler Army Medical Center, HI. Products to be procured are used for complex trauma, spine and musculoskeletal related injuries and other reconstructive procedures, NAICS code 339113, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. For item specifications, reference the redacted price list. The BPA will be awarded for a base year, period of performance 1 October 2011- 30 September 2012, plus four (4) option years. Calls will be placed against the BPA as required. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fourteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties shall reply to Pacific Regional Contracting VIA EMAIL to paul.petro@us.army.mil. TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. All inquiries must be received by 10:00 AM (HST) on 25 August 2011. To be considered for award, a firm must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov. No additional information shall be provided; no faxed submittals shall be accepted. This is NOT a request for proposals or quotations.
