- Project work includes full-bench trail restoration and construction (five foot tread width). Trail restoration includes redefining trail tread, reconstructing existing grade dips and dressing the back slope. Trail construction includes clearing & grubbing and incorporating grade dips and grade reversals into tread excavation. The project work is located on the Helena and Lewis & Clark National Forests. Helena National Forest Locations - Helena and Townsend Ranger District - North Belts - Trails included are Never Sweat #241, Frontage trail #242, Hellgate Ridge #233, Hunters Gulch #239, Cave Ridge #243 and Holiday #245. Lewis & Clark National Forest Location - Rocky Mountain Ranger District near Augusta MT - Beaver Willow Connector trail to the Little Willow Trailhead. Government Estimate - Between $25,000 - $100,000 Solicitation Issuance date on or about August 11, 2011. Solicitation will be posted electronically.
