GENERATOR OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE THERE WILL BE A JOB WALK TO VIEW THE EMERGENCY BACK-UP GENERATORS ON AUGUST 16, 2011 AT 01:00 P.M. LOCATION: MAIN GATE, MOFFETT FIELD CA. 94035 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Bids are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The solicitation W912LA-11-R-7017 is issued as a Request for Quote. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-52, effective 31 May 2011. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns and issued under NAICS code 811310. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $7.0M. 1.0REQUIREMENT: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, storage, debris disposal, clean up, certifications, supervision, and transportation to 6 Emergency Back-up Power Generators for the California Air National Guard at Moffett Federal Airfield, CA for one (1) full year beginning 1 September 2011 until 31 August 2012. The awarded contract will also include two (2) option years for service/maintenance that will be exercised depending upon the availability of funds. As a result of this solicitation, the Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the request for quote, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors. The following documents are available for download by interested parties: Statement of Work and Wage Determinations for Base Year. Compliance with the requirements stated therein will be mandatory under the terms of the awarded contract.
