Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice of government's intent to solicit quotes from regularly established businesses that specialize in telecommunication/ethernet service. The offeror shall provide and establish telecommunication/ethernet service between four (4) VAMC facility locations: (1) Myrtle Beach Community Based Outpatient Clinic located: 3381 Phyllis Blvd; Myrtle Beach, SC 2977. (2) Myrtle Beach Mental Health Annex located: 1101 Johnson Ave, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. (3) Conway HBPC located: 914 Norman Alley, Conway, SC 29526. All three facilities shall be connected back to the VA 850 VLAN located: Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. The bandwidth of the ethernet service 50MBPS SABNT and may be increased as needed to support facility growth. The NAICS code is 517110 with a size standard of 1,500 employees. The contractor shall be required to furnish all labor, material and transportation to perform the services. A complete statement of work will be inclued in the actual solicitation. The solicitation will result in firm fixed price single award contract. The anticipated period of performance 1 October 2011 through 30 September 2012 with four (4) one-year options to renew. This procurement is unrestricted. The RFP number is VA-247-11-RP-0360. When issued, the solicitation will be available via www.fedbizopps.gov. The tentative solication issue date will be on or after 15 August 2011. Interested offerors shall respond to the actual solicitation. Prospective offerors are urged to submit all questions/concerns to filida.enoch@va.gov. Telephonic requests and /or responses to the solicitation notice will not be honored. Firms offering responses to the solicitation must be registered in Central Contractors Registration Database (CCR) www.ccr.gov.
