Quote Submittal Document Supplies/Services Contracts Clauses Tracy Hall New Furniture Distribution Tracy Hall Map of Room Locations Furniture Staging Area Location Existing Furniture List-Tracy Hall (To be removed by the Contractor) STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) ENTITLED 'SECTOR SAN DIEGO UPH BARRACKS This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation Number HSCG371-Q-L50CEW is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Classification Code: 72 Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation shall not be issued. Quotations shall be valid for a period of 60days. The period of performance for this contract is as follows: 1) Production of all furnishings must be completed within 90 days after receipt of order (ARO) or as specified in the applicable GSA Contract (whichever is the shorter lead-time). 2) Contractor shall coordinate with the USCG Contracting Officer and complete the necessary CG Request for Shipper, 72 hours in advance of the completion of production. The USCG shall make the proper arrangements for transportation/shipping from the Contractor's factory to the U.S. Coast Guard Base, 2710 North Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101 3) The USCG shall coordinate the arrival of the transportation/shipping with the contractor so the contractor shall be prepared to have the crew on site and begin the efforts identified in Line Items #14 and #15. Once the transportation/Shipment has arrived the contractor shall have no more than 72 hours to complete these efforts. The objective of this requirement is for Sector San Diego UPH Barracks Furniture Replacement Project. The GSA contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, accessories, supplies, tools, materials, project supervision, and any other non-personnel services necessary to provide the delivery, unpacking, assembly, installation of new barracks room furnishings, in addition to the removal of current in place furnishings to designated staging area as reflected in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and attachments. All applicable general requirements and specification documents are attached. The contractor shall perform all work as defined in the statement of work, attachments and applicable GSA Contract. A Pre-Quote Conference is scheduled for 1:00PM, August 24, 2011. Within two days of the scheduled Pre-Quote Conference, the prospective contractors planning to attend, shall provide the names of the contractor personnel, to Brenda Godbolt, Project Manager, ( Brenda.G.Godboldt@uscg.mil 619-278-7218) for coordination with the Base Guards. All prospective contractor representatives shall have available and provide to the Gate Guards proper valid identification, vehicle registration and current insurance. Quotes shall be evaluated based on a "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable" basis. The Walsh-Healy Contract Act applies to this solicitation and subsequent resulting contract. Wage Determination, WD 05-2048 (Rev. -13) is attached to this solicitation for your reference. Check the https://dol-esa.gov/SF98 for the current wage determination information from the Department of Labor. The solicitation documents, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-52. The following FAR Clauses are applicable: FAR 52.212-1 Offerors Representations and Certification-Commercial Items: FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement statutes or Executive Orders. Coast Guard Fixed-Price Supply/Service Contracts, Contract Clauses as of May 31, 2011, is attached to this solicitation.
