- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement does not constitute the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and written solicitations will be issued. (ii) The reference number is W912ER-11-T-0044 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). CLOSING DATE AND TIME ARE 06 September 2011 AT 4:00PM EST. (iii) The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect at the time of publication. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations supplement (DFARs) can be accessed on the Internet at http://www.arnet.gov/far/ (iv) The associated NAICS code is 336111 and small business size standard is < 1000 employees. (v) CLIN 0001 - Base Year, Bus Lease (2 Buses); 33-35 passengers each POP 21 Oct 2011 - 20 Oct 2012; see Statement of Work for more details CLIN 0002 - Option Year 1, Bus Lease (2 Buses); 33-35 passengers each POP 21 Oct 2012 - 20 Oct 2013; see Statement of Work for more details CLIN 0003 - Option Year 2, Bus Lease (2 Buses); 33-35 passengers each POP 21 Oct 2013 - 20 Oct 2014; see Statement of Work for more details (vi) To complete this contract the contractor will provide the listed line items for the period of performance indicated to the USACE Deployment Center (UDC) US Army Corps of Engineers, Middle East District, 201 Prince Frederick Drive, Winchester, Virginia. Delivery and acceptance of deliverables will be FOB destination. (vii) Contract performance will be completed by 20 October 2012 unless extended by exercise of the option years. (viii)The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. (ix) The provision at FAR 52.212-2 does not apply to this acquisition. (x) The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation.
