- Description
- Synopsis: Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC), Arnold AFB, Tennessee has a requirement for two (2) each flanged 18 inch Y Type strainer assemblies and three (3) each flanged 20 inch Y Type strainer assemblies. Prospective offerors are required to provide product literature sufficient to determine that their offer meets all salient features of the flanged Y Type strainer assemblies in accordance with the Y Type strainer assembly specification, in addition to any other attachments (if applicable) that will be identified in the solicitation. A firm-fixed price contract is to be awarded from this requirement. This acquisition is solicited as FULL AND OPEN with no exclusion of responsible sources under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 333999, All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing. Requests for Quotations (solicitation RFQ) will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web page at http://www.fbo.gov. The estimated posting date is on or about 23 August 2011. Proposal due date will be on or about 13 September 2011. No hardcopies, faxes, or emails will be available. Please register as a source to be notified of RFQ amendments, clarifications, etc. However, it is the SOLE RESPONSIBILITY of offerors (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning CCR registration requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.bpn.gov/ccr/ or by calling the CCR Registration Center at 1-866-606-8220. Please note - The response date of 13 September 2011 is the ESTIMATED date closing date for the RFQ after it is posted on the FBO web page (see information regarding posting and response due date in previous paragraph).
