Description

The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, 1481 W. Tenth Street, Indianapolis, Indiana intents to negotiate with Medtronic Midas Rex, 3850 Victoria Street North, Shoreview, MN 55126-2978. Contractor to provide repair maintenance services for Midas Rex Legend drills to include E# 63929, Model: PM100, S/N: P00254287; EE# 66672, Model: PM100, S/N: T8736; EE# 67108, Model: PM100, S/N: A3425; Bone Mill: EE#53490, Model: MIDAS REX, S/N:0221, Foot pedals, and six (6) attachments per drill for the period October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012 with four yearly renewal options. The proposed action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.301-1. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the supplies/services that will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes but responses received on or before September 15, 2011 will be evaluated. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
