Description
CONTRACTING POC: Erik Lundstrom (Erik.A.Lundstrom@usace.army.mil); (206) 764-6698 ALTERNATE POC: Larry Bradbury (Larry.A.Bradbury@usace.army.mil); (206) 764-3266 Project is open to all Small Businesses. The Seattle District Corps of Engineers has a phased requirement for designing and constructing a new 2514 SM facility to house the command and control functions of both the 92 Air Refueling Wing, and 141st Air National Guard. The building may be conventional steel or concrete structure. The design shall be developed using a BIM-Build approach with emphasis placed on the BIM modeling throughout design and construction. The project shall implement applicable Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection measures. Included in the project is associated utilities, pavements, and landscaping. Also included is the demolition of an existing 3546 SM existing wood framed structure and removal/abandon of existing utilities and associated pavements. Demolition includes the abatement of hazardous materials. The Contract Cost Limitation is between $11,830,300, and the project completion period is estimated at 540 calendar days. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 with a small business size standard of $33.5M. The solicitation will be a Two-Phase Design-Build, Best Value Procurement conducted in accordance with procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15. The solicitation will be a Request for Proposals (RFP), and one firm-fixed-price contract will be negotiated as a result.
