Description

The National Park Service SF Major Activity Buying Office intends to negotiate a sole source procurement action with University of Texas at San Antonio for the purchase of post 1987 Backlog Cataloging of 53,000 objects from the post-1987 collections from San Antonio Missions NHP housed at University of Texas San Antonio's Center for Archeological Research Federal Repository. These items will be cataloged to NPS standards using ICMS software. The proposed contract action covers supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals; however this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Inquiries and proposals received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.Email debbie_kahawai@nps.gov if you want a copy of the Sole Source Justification and/or Statement of Work.
