- Construct a Primary Care Annex on a Sites Pre-Selected by VA in Wyoming (Grand Rapids), MI. Description DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA) SEEKS OFFERORS/DEVELOPERS TO CONSTRUCT A PRIMARY CARE ANNEX FOR LEASE TO THE GOVERNMENT. VA is seeking offerors to construct an Outpatient Clinic on a parcel of land in the City of Wyoming, Michigan. VA has obtained an Assignable Option to Purchase the following parcel of land: 10.26 acres of developable land (Units 20 and 41 of Metro Health Village Condominium subdivision Plan No. 754 as amended located in the city of Wyoming, Kent County, Michigan, and registered by the Kent County, Michigan Register as public record number 20050629-0076202, along with subsequent revisions.) at a total cost of $2,725,000 (survey attached.) The Option will be assigned to the successful offeror at time of lease award. The land and outpatient clinic will remain the property of the successful offeror at the end of the lease term. The successful offeror is required to purchase the land at the agreed upon price and construct a clinic of approximately 96,000 net usable square feet based on the specifications, special requirements, floor plan and site layout contained in Solicitation for Offers (SFO) No. VA-101-09-RP-0059 (which will be issued on or around September 9, 2011.) In addition to the building, a minimum of 473 parking spaces are also required by VA. VA will lease the facility for a firm period of 20 years. Interested parties should respond to this announcement by September 9, 2011. When requesting SFO documents, state name, address, phone, e-mail address and solicitation number. Requests shall be forwarded via e-mail to the Point of Contact listed below. Upon issuance of the SFO by the Contracting Officer, Offerors will have 30 business days to provide an offer. All responsible and qualified sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by VA. VA plans to hold a pre-bid conference during the week of September 19, 2011. Specific details will be forwarded to all potential offerors with instructions on how to access the SFO documents.
