Description

The Contractor shall select and evaluate a 2.5 inch hard drive for potential use in the SSI Program in accordance with OD 62144 as risk mitigation to the common element qualification activities in support of the Shipboard Systems Integration Program. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the United States and United Kingdom TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
