Description
RFQ Solicitation N00421-11-T-0420 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on sole source basis with Raytheon, under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13, and FAR Part 6.302-1. Raytheon ACU Equipment is required. The ACU-5000 will be used as a suite of sophisticated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms to resolve typical radio interoperability problems, interface cables for hundreds of radio make and models, and quick setup templates for rapid deployment. The ACU Equipment is required to be equipped with an intuitive Web-based Graphical User Interface (GUI), a four port Ethernet switch and the ability to configure its communications channels per. user preference type including: radio, telephone, VoIP (SIP), or Raytheon's proprietary Radio over Internet Protocol (RoIP). This feature allows the ACU-5000 to be quickly reconfigured as needs change, with no need to carry or swap out hardware modules. As a result, Raytheon is the only manufacturer that will provide fullinteroperability with the current system. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This maybe accomplished electronically at http://www.ccr.gov/vendor.cfm. See attached RFQ Award is anticipated 30 August 2011. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 29 August 2011 at 9am will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received. Emailed proposals are acceptable. For information contact: Tashell Richmond 301-757-5263 or email: tashell.richmond1@navy.mil
