Description

Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source purchase order Grip Tester ASTM 1844, Test Tire and Split Rim Assembly Part No. 1966392. NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD -- The 325th Contracting Squadron hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Chemtek/The Aerogroup Ltd for the acquisition of Grip Tester ASTM 1844, Test Tire and Split Rim Assembly. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures (SAP), Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1, and Statutory Authority: 10 USC 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This announcement constitutes the only notice. The reference number is F4ATA41210A001. The NAICS code for this procurement is 333120. The contractor shall provide the following: Grip Tester part #1966392, QTY = 10. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider capabilities of other interested parties if received no later than Mon Aug 29, 2011 12:00 noon Central Standard Time. A sole source award will be accomplished with Chemtek/The Aerogroup Ltd if no responses are received by the above date.
