- This is a Request for Information (RFI) from U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) and Army Forces Strategic Command (ARSTRAT) to determine the existence of sources interested in and capable of supplying the following items: commercially available bike storage lockers. Bike lockers should have one (1) door, one (1) bike capacity, modular molded fiberglass plastic composite, UV and graffiti resistant, lock system, stainless steel hardware, two (2) gear hooks per locker, airflow ventilation, engraved locker numbers, and at least one master key for the entire system. Please provide a technical description of your company's product(s) to include descriptive literature and technical specifications. Also discuss in detail inherent capabilities which enhance system performance and operator ease of use. Identify which features are included with the basic system capability as opposed to those features which may be optionally offered. Responses should clearly state terms and conditions of sale to include applicable service agreements. Indicate whether resulting service agreements allow for operations or maintenance by a third party. Also provide delivery schedule information for the basic and optional capabilities offered. Finally, indicate the provisions of any Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranty offered as well as, the costs associated with extending such warranty. Capability responses should include applicable DoD contract or GSA Federal Supply Schedule information, if available, and business size status, product descriptive literature and technical specifications, contract ordering instructions (if applicable), your point of contact info (name, phone number, fax), and pricing info. Or, provide website links to your product descriptive literature and technical specifications. Pricing information should include all anticipated costs, to include shipping, warranty, recommended initial spare parts or accessories for new equipment. All interested parties must submit thier responses to: laura.clinger@smdc-cs.army.mil by 4:00 PM (Mountain Standard Time) on August 30, 2011. Capability responses sent to any other email address will not be accepted. This is a market survey for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a Request for Quote or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey or otherwise pay for information requested. Proprietary information is not being solicited; however, if it is submitted, it should be appropriately marked. The Government implies no intention or opportunity to acquire funding to support current or future requirements. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this survey or results of information submitted.
