Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business
Description: This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to reroof the Kalaloch duplex building within Olympic National Park. The Kalaloch duplex is a flat torch-down roof. Work includes removing and disposing of existing roof covering, removing and disposing existing drains and downspouts, installing new membrane roof system, installing new drains and downspouts, and installing miscellaneous roof vents. This project is being solicited and awarded as a total (100%) small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238160 with an associated small business size standard of $14,000,000. The magnitude of construction is less than $25,000. An organized site visit will not be scheduled, however, Offerors are encouraged to make an appointment for a self-guided visit. Follow the site visit instructions in the solicitation, Section L, clause 52.236-27. Interior access to the Duplex will not be permitted. Offerors are welcome to view the exterior of the building anytime. Driving from south U.S. Highway 101, take the first turn after passing the Kalaloch Campground. Drving from north U.S. Highway 101, take the first turn after passing milepost 157.9. Kalaloch Ranger Station does not have a physical address, but the phone number is 360-962-2284. GPS devices may or may not work in this area of the park.
