Description
Intent to Sole Source - Antimicrobial Therapy, Inc. The Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) of The Department of Veterans Affairs in Independence, OH intends to sole source a procurement to Antimicrobial Therapy Inc, in order to provide access to the Sanford Guide on a subscription basis. PCAC has determined that this procurement should be issued as a sole source due to the Sanford Guide being a thorough and unique medical reference subscription service that is not offered by any other vendor. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(2)(b), "soliciting from a single source." The NAICS code is 511120 and has a size standard of 500 employees for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the Contract Specialist, Jonathan Chisholm, via jonathan.chisholm@va.gov or by fax to: (216) 447-8311. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the PCAC will proceed with sole sourcing this requirement to Antimicrobial Therapy, Inc.
