- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Project: Helicopter Mockup Firefighting Trainer, Trailer, Hose Line Solicitation #: F1D3221201A001 1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1D3221201A001 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13 guidelines. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53. All responsible sources may submit an offer to be considered by the agency. 2. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This is a brand name or equal requirement; any item with the same salient physical, functional, and performance characteristics of the brand name item will be accepted. If providing an equivalent model, interested parties must submit clear and convincing documentation that the submitted model is, in fact, an equal product. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333999 ("All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing"), and the business size standard is 500 employees. 3. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract for a Helicopter Mockup Firefighting Trainer and Trailer for the 11th Civil Engineering Squadron at Joint Base Andrews. The following items are being procured: CLIN Description Quantity Unit Price Total Price 0001 Mockup, Helicopter; Kidde; FireTrainer O-100-HELO; Prop construction: heavy-duty steel construction Dimensions: 24' Long x 7' Wide x 10' High OR EQUAL 1 EA 0002 Trailer, Transport; Kidde; FireTrainer O-100-CTR; Self-contained Dimensions: 27' Long x 8'6" Wide, with a 24" deck height Features: Two on-board propane tanks, on-board storage lockers for all O-100 equipment, winch with wireless remote for loading and unloading helicopter OR EQUAL 1 EA 0003 Fire Trainer; Kidde; Hose Line FireTrainer O-100; Live Fire Training System Construction: Stainless Steel Power: 110 VAC (50' AC power cable provided) Features: Water Bath burner for increased realism, two-stage flame control, and hand-held operator pendant with 30' cable OR EQUAL 1 EA 4. Delivery Information FOB: Destination Delivery date: 60 days after date of contract. Delivery address: 11th CES/CEF 1287 S Dakota Avenue Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762 Contractor must provide an affirmative statement of their ability to meet the delivery requirement of 60 days after date of contract 5. EVALUATION PROCEDURES: The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation on the basis of lowest price. Quotes will be evaluated on price related factors only. 52.212-3 - Offerors Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. All offerors must submit representations and certifications in accordance with this provision along with their offer.
