- Description
- The U.S. Department of State's Office of Acquisition Management (A/LM/AQM) is seeking firms with experience in printing Law Enforcement credential stock. The minimum specifications are as follows: The credential shall be a two part credential consisting of an upper and lower section with each section being approximately 4.25 X 2.5 inches printed on 8.5 X 11 inch paper. Each piece of Law Enforcement credential stock shall be printed with a unique serial number and have mutable security features to include but not limited to; micro printing, UV ink, embossing, and water marks. All Law Enforcement credential stock and plates must be manufactured and safeguarded at the same level of protection as Secret national security information. The Government is requesting information in the form of proposed designed technical data packages with specifications and approximate number of days to print and deliver 10,000 Law Enforcement credential stock from interested manufacturers for this market survey. Interested firms should submit an email package no later than September 12, 2011, to Mark J. Bohac, email address Bohacmj@state.gov. The following information should be part of the email notice of interest: Contractor name; Dunn and Bradstreet Number, Cage Code and Headquarters address; Point of contact with telephone number and email address; Size of business; and country represented in which manufacturing takes place; All submittals should include at least three (3) points of contact from United States federal law enforcement agencies or other types of U.S. law enforcement agencies that have purchased from your firm in the past five years or currently use your firm; and all package submittals should include samples, or the most recent testing and inspection reports conducted by U.S. Government or third party entities which demonstrate the quality of the U.S. Law Enforcement credential stock. This market research is for information and planning purposes only, and does not constitute a Request for Proposal. This market research is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market research. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this survey.
