Description
FAA has a requirement for Elevator, Hydraulic Lift and Dock Leveler Maintenance & Repair.The NAICS code is 811219, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive & Electronic) Repair & Maintenance and the Size Standard is $7 Million; therefore, Offers are being requested and this solicitation DTFAEN-11-R-00113 is being issued as a Request for Offer (RFO). A detailed description of the submittal requirements and evaluation factors can be found in Sections "L" and "M" of the Solicitation. **Please review these sections thoroughly. If all requested information is not furnished, the Offeror's response may be determined nonresponsive and ineligible for contract award. Note: A tiered evaluation method will be utilized, see Section "M" of the solicitation package for further details. **This Solicitation is Subject to the Availability of Funds** All questions shall be addressed to the Contracting Officer in writing via email at regina.singleton@faa.gov. It is the Offerors' responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. Potential Offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more Offerors at any time during the SIR process. The Government reserves the right to award on a multiple award or an all or none basis. All firms must be registered in the Central Contract Registration database at www.ccr.gov to be considered for award.Proposals may be submitted using the United States Postal Service (USPS) or any commercial mail carrier to the following address: FAA Eastern Logistics Service Area, Southern Region Attn: Regina A. Singleton, ASO-52ATL 1701 Columbia Avenue, College Park GA. 30337 Offerors submitting proposals by hand-delivery will need to notify the Contracting Officer at least 24 hours in advance and allow sufficient time to process through the security procedures in place at the FAA Southern Region Office. Overnight delivery of responses to this Solicitation may also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for the special mail-handling procedures in place at the Southern Region Office. Electronic Offers in response to this Solicitation can be submitted in accordance with the following clause: 3.2.2.3-20 Electronic Offers (July 2004) (a) The Offeror (you) may submit responses to this SIR by the following electronic means (E-Mail or Fax). Your offer must arrive at the place and by the time specified in the SIR. (b) Electronic offers must refer to this SIR and include, as applicable, the item or sub-items, quantities, unit prices, time and place of delivery, all representations and other information required and a statement specifying the extent of your agreement with all the FAA's (we) terms, conditions, and provisions.(c) We may decline to consider electronic offers that do not include required information, or that reject any of the terms, conditions and provisions of the SIR. (d) We reserve the right to make award solely on the electronic offer. This SIR is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of proposals. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
