- Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD), Philadelphia intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract for the following Furuno Navigational Equipment which will be required by NSWCCD Little Creek. P/N# 1834C/NT (QTY 78) P/N# BBWGPS (QTY 78) P/N# PG500R (QTY 78) P/N# DFFI (QTY 78) P/N# SS60-SLD (QTY 78) A full list of references and associated ordering data shall be set forth within the written solicitation. The equipment will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.5. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement This procurement for Furuno Navigational Equipment is being sought on a sole source basis and is limited to authorized dealers of Furuno Navigational Equipment. The Furuno model 1834C system is the only system that will meet the Government's requirements. The Procurement will be solicited on a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Requests for quote will be available for download on or about 23 August 2011 at the following website: http:www.neco.navy.mil under solicitation N65540-11-R-5022. Lack of registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the internet at http:www/ccr.gov. The NECO website has a submit bid button next to the solicitation number. DO NOT use the submit bid button on NECO to submit your proposal. Telephone requests are not authorized and shall not be accepted. Only complete copies of the SF1449 solicitation document will be accepted as quotes.
