Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, Regional Contracts Dept., Seal Beach Division, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Arbo Box Inc, Orange CA, for the acquisition of CLIN 0001- Tent Box OD 92X45X43 ¼ ID 87 7/8 X40 7/8 X37 ½, one hundred (100) EA, Manufacturer P/N Arbo Tent Box. Delivery is 30 Days ARO FOB Destination. Place of Delivery Port Hueneme, CA 93043. Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1). Due to the unique knowledge and support material required, Arbor Box is the only contractor to provide this product. This item is necessary in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items in accordance with 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http:/www.neco.navy.mil/). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-53 and DFARS Change Notice 20110819. It is the contractor ™s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposal received by August 29 2011 will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A proposal may be submitted via e-mail or facsimile with complete mailing address, point of contact, phone number, facsimile number, business size and shall be clearly marked with solicitation N00244-11-T-0499.
