- NSNs within Target Population and Estimated Quantities The solicitation is issued to establish an Indefinite Quantity Contract for multiple NSNs for competitive items for Federal Stock Classes 3110/3120/3130. The solicitation contains a target quantity of 124 NSNs with possible 154 NSNs as an add-on population. There will be a one-year base period of performance with four one-year option periods for a total period of performance of five years. The Estimated annual quantities are available in the attachment to this synopsis. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will vary by item. FOB is Destination. All items must be priced for an offer to be considered. Pricing will be evaluated on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) of each. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Solicitation scheduled release date is September 13, 2011. Electronic (DIBBS) proposals/quotes are unacceptable. An Excel spreadsheet for pricing will be provided with the solicitation. Proposals are to be submitted to the Bid Custodian via email at DSCR.Biddesk@dla.mil. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the BSM Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) Homepage ( https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil ). Select "Request for Proposal (RFP)" under the Solicitations heading. Then choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requestors.
