- The James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, Tampa, FL awarded a contract to Applied Engineering Solutions, Inc., 440 Martin L. King Blvd., Suite 401, Macon, GA 31201, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), to provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, specialty services, supervision and tools to complete Project# 673-11-206, Upgrade HVAC Controls Phase 4, at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, FL 33612, in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions of RFQ VA-248-11-RQ-00652. This project s magnitude was determined to be between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 based on the size and complexity of the work to be performed. This acquisition was a Sole Source Award authority under 38 USC 8127 and VAAR 819.7007 to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in the amount of $83,422.00. In view of the above, it was determined to be in the government's best interest to award this project in the amount of $83,422.00 to Applied Engineering Solutions, Inc.
