Description

FAR Clause RFQ/SF18 Cover Letter *********ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE HONORED********* IMPORTANT: TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED ********* The contractor shall provide service, labor and transportation to fill various cylinders at USCG Base Support Unit, KODIAK, ALASKA for the period 01 October 2011 through 30 September 2012, in accordance with the attached SF18 (RFQ). The cylinder types include: Oxygen, Aviator, Large; Argon; Nitrogen, Small; Nitrogen, Large; Carbon Dioxide, Large; Nitrogen, 3500psi; Welders Oxygen; Carbon Dioxide, Small; Acetylene, Large; Hydrotest Services; Acetylene Requalification and Valve Replacements. The proposed contract is a small business set aside. All responsible sources that submit a written quotation will be considered. Materials, workmanship, and installation shall comply with the latest edition of all applicable codes and industry standards and these specifications. Contractor is responsible for field verification of all material sizes and quantities necessary for the performance of this project before quoting. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: None PERFROMANCE PERIOD is: 01Oct2011 - 30Sept2012 SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: manufacturer's catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition references / qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH Industry Standards, Cylinder Inspection and Recertification Regulations, and DOT Hazardous Materials Shipping Regulations while transporting cylinders. A SITE VISIT will not be held. LOCATION: U.S. Coast Guard, Base Support Unit, Kodiak, Alaska. Estimated Price Range less than $50,000.
