Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.501(a) to Giles and Ransome, 720 Pulaski Highway, Bear, DE 19701. This procurement is using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is for Plant 1136 Caterpillar D6-R Tracked Dozer Undercarriage Repair for Fort Mifflin Project Office for Pedricktown Disposal Site. No RFQ will be issued based on this notice. However, all information received within (3) calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. All contractors are required to be registered in the DOD's Central Contract Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300. The NAICS code is 423810 and the small business size standard is 100 employees.
