- Description
- Market Survey - Study and Analysis of AIR Technical Program Phase: Non-commercial Procurement Method: Market Survey This is a market survey for support services for the following requirement: Provide the necessary support to meet the goals and objectives of the Office of Aircraft Certification Services (AIR). (See attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW)). In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS) Policy 3.2.1.2.1, this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from interested 8(a) firms. Furthermore, this survey will aid the FAA in its determination as to whether adequate competition exists to set-aside part or all of the competition amongst eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) program. The principle North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this effort is 541618. In order to make this determination the FAA requires the following information from interested vendors: 1. Capability Statement (Limited to three pages) - This document should include the following: 1) Your company's capability to provide support services to the agency as described in the attached draft SOW. 2) Any relevant current or previous for the same or similar services. 2. Geographical areas where your company can provide services. 3. Complete the Business Declaration Form (Enclosure 2) and provide a copy of your SBA 8(a) certification letter. 4. Comments concerning the Draft Statement of Work (SOW) (Enclosure 1) are welcome and optional. The FAA will consider all comments received. The functions identified in the Draft SOW are to be continued throughout the period of performance of the procurement. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. All Submissions must be received by 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on September 29, 2011. Submit by email to James N. Berry II, Contract Specialist, james.n.berry@faa.gov in Microsoft Word or PDF format. Updates to this announcement will be published on the FAA Contract Opportunities website (http://faaco.faa.gov/) under the Current Announcements for FAA Headquarters. It is the vendor's responsibility to monitor this website for updates to this procurement.
