Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Oceus Networks, Located at 5801 Tennyson Drive, Suite #250, Plano, TX 75903 for the acquisition of annual maintenance and support of lawful intercept hardware and proprietary software. Oceus Networks is the original equipment manufacturer and holds sole proprietary rights to its hardware and software products. The acquisition will be conducted through the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 "Simplified Acquisition Procedures". The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541511. The business size standard is $25 million. The Government anticipates the award on a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.305(a) the justification will be made publicly available within 14 days after award has been made. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date is September 6, 2011 at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.
