Description

Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Procurement Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Hitachi High Technologies America, Inc. by other than full and open competition, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, to provide DHS S&T Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC) with a maintenance service agreement. This maintenance service agreement is for a previously installed Hitachi 7600 Electron Microscope at PIADC; the maintenance service agreement is for the Diamond Level coverage with annual one time billing. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Thus, this is not a formal solicitation. Therefore, this is not considered a Request for Proposal (RFP).
