- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) intends to procure Rita Star Beta TLC Analyser from Raytest USA, Inc. 515 Cornelius Harnett Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401. NIDDK requires a TLC analyzer to quantitate radioactive lipids on thin layer chromatography (TLC) plates. The instrument must have 2 simultaneous sensing electrodes, the delay line which determines the location of the counting event, and the counting wire used for the electronic collimation. These elements of the system must be gold coated to protect from damaging electrical short circuits. RITA STAR BETA TLC ANALYZER WITH GINA STAR TLC CONTROL AND EVALUATION PROGRAM FOR 2 TLC-PLATES 20 X 20 CM FULLY AUTOMATIC HIGH VOLTAGE SETUP ELECTRONIC COLLIMATOR FOR HIGHEST RESOLUTION FULLY AUTOMATIC MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION. This action is under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(1), as set forth on FAR 6.302-1 and HHSAR 306-302-1. Only one responsible source and no other will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received with 10 days after the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Confidentiality - No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
