- This is a large purchase buy for NSN: 5998-01-257-0358. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available from the Government. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) The total quantity required is 139 each with 68 each to be shipped to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002 and 71 each to be shipped to (W62G2T) Tracy, CA 95304-5000. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Current approved manufacturers are Northrop Grumman (CAGE: 26916) P/N: 32-081894-01 and Artemis Electronics (CAGE: 41JV4) P/N: 41JV4-30312. Government first article test (FAT) is required. This solicitation opens on 09/19/11 and closes 10/24/11. The Government's requested delivery time is 436 days. Inspection/acceptance requested is origin and FOB requested is destination. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on its issue date of 09/19/11.
