- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE -Fugo Blades The Pacific Regional Contracting Office intends to make a sole source award to MediSurg Research & Management Corporation for a firm-fixed price contract to support the requirements of Department of Surgery, Tripler Army Medical Center. This requirement will be awarded on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U. S. C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1(c). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Interested parties shall reply to Pacific Regional Contracting VIA EMAIL to penelope.a.parnes@us.army.mil. TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. All inquiries must be received by 9:00 AM (HST) on 12 September, 2011. To be considered for award, a firm must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov. No additional information shall be provided; no faxed submittals shall be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
