Description

This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. AMENDMENT 0001: NEW INFORMATION: This requirement is being amended to decrease the maximum ordering quantity from 115,000 to 60,000 units. The solicitation will be amended to: 1) Reduce the maximum quantity, 2) Provide clarification of the Delivery Schedules, and 3) Correct a typographical error. The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five year ordering period for the Detonator, Non-electric, Dual, 40 foot, MK164 MOD0 in accordance with (IAW) the technical package. ORIGINAL INFORMATION: The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five year ordering period for the Detonator, Non-electric, Dual, 40 foot, MK164 MOD0 in accordance with (IAW) the technical package. Contractors must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the solicitation attachments. Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the internet at www.ccr.gov. Information about the JCP is located at http://www.dlis.dla.mil. The solicitation attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. Preliminary inspection will be performed by the cognizant DCMA at the contractors facility with final acceptance at Destination with delivery F.O.B. Destination. The applicable NAICS Classification is 325920 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract on a full and open competition basis. To be eligible for award of a Government contract, contractors must be properly registered in the Government ™s Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at www.ccr.gov. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation. Submitting a bid from the NECO website by clicking on “Submit Bid- does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format. It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit offers via email to the POC at NSWC Crane.
