Description
Building Foundation Building Specifications Building Elevations This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is FA4855-11-Q-0137 and is a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DPN) 20110819, and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2011-0714 This is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 332311 (Prefabricated metal building and component manufacturing). Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The Offeror must be an authorized, qualified, and certified vendor and must quote on an all or none basis. Written quotes are required (oral offers will not be accepted). Only one contract will be awarded. Line items: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts, shipping, and all other items necessary to provide the following item(s): Line Item Description U/I Qty 0001 Custom Three Story Pre-Fabricated Building IAW attached specifications (attachment 1) and drawings (attachment 2) EA 1 0002 Erection/Assembly of Building. Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, and materials to erect/assemble building (CLIN 0001) with an on-site technical consultant to supervise erection LS 1 *Foundation Design/Construction IS NOT required foundation detail is provided for contractor information. Concrete Foundation is already in place. **Evaluation criteria for this acquisition is "Best Value" please see 52.212-2 evaluation of commercial items below. Delivery: FOB Destination to 3771 Sundale Valley Rd. Floyd, NM 88118; Equipment must be delivered and installed within 150 calendar days after award. It is the firm's or individuals' responsibility to be familiar with applicable provisions and clauses. The following Provisions and Clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items The following addendum is provided to this provision: Paragraph (b), entitled "Submission of Offers", Offers may be submitted via facsimile or mail. (i) Contractor is to provide detailed specifications/drawings of product provided (ii) Contractor shall provide a list of past federal/commercial contracts relevant to this acquisition (a) Contractor must provide POC(point of contacts) with submitted past federal/commercial contracts (b) Past Performance information is due NLT 12 September 2011 Paragraph (c); entitled "Period of Acceptance for Offers", the offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 60 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Item Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
